WestPetro Pty Ltd is first and foremost an ethanol company promoting the use of renewable energy, sustainability and agricultural development in Western Australia.

WestPetro will process 500,000 tonnes of high starch Energy Grain into 190 million litres of fuel grade ethanol annually. We will be working closely with Major Accummulators, Breeding Companies and Farmers Direct to establish a new domestic grain market for high yield, high starch grain's and enhance Western Australian fuel security.
Ethanol, provides high quality, high octane for exceptional engine performance and reduced emissions. Ethanol has been used in cars since Henry Ford designed his 1908 Model T to operate on alcohol. In fact, several teams in national and international racing competitions use ethanol because of its high octane and exceptional performance. Starting in 2007, the Indy Racing League – home of the Indianapolis 500 - began using 100% ethanol instead of methanol as its official race fuel. The Australian V8 Supercar Series has been running E85 (85% ethanol ) for the past 2 seasons.

East Rockingham Ethanol Project:
WestPetro proposes to develop an ethanol plant at Lot 1490 within the East Rockingham Industrial Park located immediately adjacent to the Kwinana Industrial Area, 40km South of Perth.
Westpetro is seeking Expressions of Interest (EOI) from WA growers who would like to diversify their cropping program. These forms can be used for farmers to register their interest and to be put onto a registery for project up-dates and contact with regards to Domestic Market Opportunities.
